She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen F. Anderson (DeRoche) and William T. Anderson; and her siblings, Julie Trewhella, Susan Perry, Neil and William "Studge" Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Thornton of Ishpeming; her children, Terri Thornton of Battle Creek, MI, Shana Thornton (Donald Larson) of Negaunee, MI, Trisha Colling (Timothy) of Rabbit Bay, MI and Shawn Thornton (Kristin) of Ishpeming, MI; her grandchildren, Kori, Kristi (Ryan), Kelli (Tyler), Ashlee (Martel), Daniel, Connor (Sasha), Jacob and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Ella, Evan, Leni and Kyson; her siblings, Jean Junak (Jim) of Ishpeming, MI, Betty Bosio (Angelo) of Ishpeming, MI, Mary Jo Bussone (Larry) of Ishpeming, MI, Frances Schneider (Joel) of Schaumberg, IL and Terry Anderson (Carol) of Grand Junction, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Anderson of Ishpeming, Betty Anderson of Minneapolis, MN and Helen Schimmelpfennig (Larry) of Fish Creek, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
