It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Bluekamp of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Holland, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bluekamp and Ella Bluekamp (Klassen); his wife Carol Vander Hill; and his children-in-law, Bert Beurmann (Sheila) and Rosalie Bluekamp (Doug).
He is survived by: his children, Paula Hemmila (Bill) of Negaunee, Sheila Smith of Hartland, Doug Bluekamp of Iron Mountain, Rhonda Bertucci (Michael) of Ishpeming and Donald Bluekamp (Denise) of Negaunee; his grandchildren, Josh, Jodi Hemmila, Kendal Smith (Daniel Durand), Hannah (Shelby), Kinsie (Barry Hopper), Kayla Bertucci (Erick Riley) and Nathan Bluekamp; his great grandchildren, Mya, Zander Hemmila, Kinsie and Barry; and his siblings, Sally Cappello (Phil) of Holland and Brian Bluekamp (Kathy) of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation can do so on Paul's behalf to the Wesley United Methodist Church.
