Norman R. Bjorne Obituary
The memory of Norman R. Bjorne of Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Bjorne and Martha Bjorne (Walimaa); his brothers, Wesley, Eddie, Les, Cal and Wally (Arlene); and his daughter Julie.
He is survived by: his sons, Bob Bjorne of Fayetteville, PA and Jim Bjorne (Holly) of Ishpeming; his son-in-law Paul Maki of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Jennie Johnson (Brandin) of Negaunee, Hillary LaChapell (Andy) of North Lake and Seth Bjorne (Erika) of Negaunee; his great grandchildren, Jarin, Brady, Claire Johnson, Lucy, Lucas LaChapell, Boone, Cooper and Eliina Bjorne; and his brother Bernie of Ishpeming. He is also survived by cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (333 E Ridge St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
