He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Potila and Aunie Potila (Niemi); his wife Kathleen Potila (Thomas); and his siblings, Ray Potila and Carol Rintala.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vikki Kulju (Don) and Tracy Lee (Michael); his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Potila and Linda Rose (Leonard); and his grandchildren, Taylor Busch-Anderson (Ethan), Ty Kulju, Henry Lee and Jordan Fox (Duncan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
