He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Gertrude Chapman (Oja) and Mason Chapman; his wife Joan Chapman; his brother Allan Chapman (Darlene); and his sisters-in-law, Mary and Linda Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Long (Brett) of San Jacinto, CA, Dan Chapman (Debbie) of Ishpeming and Jon Chapman (Cindy) of Aurora, IL; his brothers, Bruce Chapman of Ishpeming, Michael Chapman (Linda) of Marquette and Ray Chapman (Peggy) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Kayla Chapman-Durant (Jesse), Alyssa Unteriner (Jackson), Megan Beachnau (Sean), Heather Miller, Brett Long Jr. (Jessica) and Erin Bussom (David); and his great grandchildren, Zoey Durant, Felicity Miller, Clayton Miller, Kassidy Long, Kiley Long, Anora Bussom and Brekken Bussom. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
