She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Genevieve Nelson (Belanger); her husband Paul Vahamaa Sr.; her brother John Paul Nelson; her daughter-in-law Amy Vahamaa; and her brother-in-law Stephen Mattson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Vahamaa Jr., Stacie Vahamaa (Jeff Mattson) and Andrew Vahamaa; her sisters, Janice Mattson (Dan LaFramboise) and Debbie Vanslambrouck (Randy); her grandchildren, Alyse Vahamaa, Noah Chipman, Anastasia Chipman, Callie White, Nolan White and Evan Vahamaa; and her great grandchild Saige Hetrick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
