With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Purtee of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Munising, Michigan, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne McNally and Marvel McNally (Lord); her sister Robin McNally; and her brother-in-law Henry "Tiq" Bush. She is survived by: her pet Prince; her children, Michelle Ghassemi (Hessam) of Raleigh, NC, Melinda Purtee (Darryl Martin) of Gwinn and Miguel Purtee of Marquette; her granddaughter Luna Purtee of Marquette; her siblings, Lou Anne Bush, Michael McNally (Kym) of South Haven, Kenneth McNally of Munising and Vincent McNally (Mary) of Kalamazoo; and her former husband Michael Purtee of New Mexico. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
