She was predeceased by: her father Eino Michael Jarvi; her sister Geraldine McKenzie; her nephew Tommy McKenzie; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas McKenzie, Jeff Grimm and Jon Mattila.
She is survived by: her mother Estella Maria Jarvi (Oja); her husband Karl Laaninen; her siblings, Joan Grimm, Julie Mattila, Jacqueline Helwig (David), Michael Jarvi (Donna) and Jonathan Jarvi (Robin); and her brothers-in-law, Peter Laaninen (Jean) and Bill Laaninen (Kris). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
