He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Marcotte (Gauthier) and Henry "Harry" Marcotte; his son Jerry Marcotte; his brothers, John (Cherie) and Roger Marcotte; his former wife Marlene; his sisters, Armine Libby (Maurice) and Jane Santora (Frank); and his brothers-in-law, Allen LeRoy, Jack Williams and Robert Hilliker.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Marcotte of Ishpeming; his children, Lori Dalebroux (Dean) of De Pere, WI, Dan Marcotte (Janet) of Ishpeming and David Marcotte (Wendy) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Eric Marcotte, Jason Marcotte, Trent Forst, Rylee Marcotte, Amelia Leukuma and Bryn Leukuma; his great grandchild Jai Marcotte; his siblings, Ruth LeRoy of Ishpeming, Marion Randall (Marshall) of Ishpeming, Mae Williams of Ishpeming, Barb Hilliker of Marquette, Margaret Johnson (Dave) of Negaunee, Charles Marcotte (Patricia) of Ishpeming, Allen Marcotte (Bonnie) of Grants Pass, OR, Robert Marcotte (Katherine) of Marquette, Bernard Marcotte (Deanette) and Donald Marcotte (Shirley) of Benson, AZ; and his sister-in-law Audrey Marcotte of Marquette.
