It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Peterson of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ellen Ida (Junttila) and Carl K. Nikula; her grandfathers, Matti Junttila and Charles Nikula; her son Matthew C. Peterson (Jody) of Long Beach, MS; her grandchildren, Max Peterson (Bird) of Traverse City, Sam Peterson of Marquette and Rachel Kuliu (Jake) of Munising; her sister Martha Rooney (Bill); her son Walter Peterson; her sisters, Carol Thorstenson and Janet Chynoweth; and her friend Sandy Laforest.
Due to the increasing current COVID cases, and in consideration for others in attendance, the family asks you to kindly wear a mask while attending the services.
