He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Hill (Franson) and Howard O. Hill; and his siblings, Joan Chapman, Penny Karhi and David Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn M. Hill of Ishpeming; his daughters, Lori Wolthoff (Arnie) of Wabasha, MN and Kristen Hill (Todd Ball) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Brooke Scott, Matt Nielsen, Tessa Nielsen (Dylan Hartzell), Taylor Kerkela, Annie Niepoth (Quinten) and Jake Kerkela (Megan Syrjala); and his brother-in-law Kurt Wicklund (Sylvia Christy).
