He was predeceased by: his wife Gail (Headly); and his siblings, Melvin, Alan Besola and Betty Uitto. He is survived by: his son Jeff Besola (Kris Kontio); his grandchildren, Mathew Besola (Erin), Melissa Darga (Tony), Brandon Besola (Kathy) and Nichole Nicely (Jon); his great grandchildren, Tucker Darga, Cadence Besola, Payton Besola, Eliina Besola, Evelyn Besola, Harper Nicely and Maximus Nicely; and his sister Jean Bilkey (Eugene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
