It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keno Dale Jaykka (Ishpeming, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Keski and Clifford DeChambeau; his wife Gerine Jaykka; his grandmother Jennie Jaykka; his aunt Tye Jaykka; his cousin Mary Hughes; and his siblings, Shirley Tchida, Janet Stebbins, Barbara Burgess, Keith Keski, Gordon Keski, Steve Keski and Robert Keski.
He is survived by: his children, David Jaykka (Nancy) of West Ishpeming, Diane Murray (Guy) of Diorite Loc and Carolyn Trewnick (Jim) of Diorite Loc; his grandchildren, Matthew Jaykka, Ryan Jaykka (Danielle), Heidi Jaykka, Kristin Murray, Keri Hytinen (Jason), Daniel Murray (Katherine), Eric Trewnick (Rebeca) and Corey Trewnick; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Zakary, Lucy Jaykka, Lexi, Allison Gerine Hytinen, Myla Skauge, Lydia, Grace, Violet Murray and Faith Trewnick; and his cousin Sylvia Mikkola.
