He was predeceased by: his mother Penny Joan Carlson of Ely Township; his grandparents, Dean Robert Carlson, Fred "Adu" Alderton and Ella M. Alderton; his aunts, Marsha Fraser and Patti Sue "Ug" Nickerson; his uncle Mike Alderton; his brother-in-law Tom Petrocik; and his cousin Angie Nickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Alli Carlson, Jack Carlson of Ely Township and Noah Carlson of Ely Township; his father Dean Michael; his stepmother Michelle Carlson of Iron Mountain; his sister Brandi Lynn Petrocik of Negaunee; his uncle David Carlson (Cynthia Krook) of Ishpeming; his nephews, Cooper, Spencer and Isaac Petrocik; his former wife Amanda Tonn-Carlson of Ely; and his uncle Mike Daily (Sway).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tilden Township Hall (3145 Co Rd PG, Ishpeming, MI 49849).
