She is survived by: her sons, Matthew (Laura), Jacob Wirtala (Corrie) of Helsinki and Finland (Peter Wirtala); her grandsons, Felix, Milo, Calvin and Henry Wirtala; her siblings, Peter Kivisto (Susan) of Rock Island, IL and Kay Herrala of Ishpeming; her niece Sarah Kivisto (Ben) of Princeton, IA; her nephew Aaron Kivisto (Katie) of Carmel, IN; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Max and Kai.
