She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Tallier (Culver) and Louis Tallier; her husband Ralph; her son Gary Helsten; her brothers, Jim, Bud Tallier and Boxer; and her pets, Moe and Dudley.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Racine (Steve) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Brenda Keto (Dave) of National Mine, Craig Helsten of Ishpeming Twp and Erik Helsten of National Mine; her brother Robert Tallier (Yoko) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Meghan Richer (Mark), Jessica Keto and Erin Keto; and her great grandchild Jason Keto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
