He is survived by: his brother James Thornton (Diana) of Negaunee; his niece Terri Hodgins; his nephews, Stan Brownell (Monica), Steve Brownell and Carl Brownell (Chris); his great-nieces, Kelsey Miller (Chris McKenna), Kylie Miller, Morgan Miller, Sydney Hodgins and Kenadie Hodgins; and his great-nephew Kolton Hodgins.
