He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvio Barda and Katherine Barda (Amonie); his wife Helga Barda; his daughter Colleen Helstein; his grandson Ryan Helstein; and his siblings, Dominique Normand and James Barda.
He is survived by: his daughter Nachel Lindsay (Val) of Ishpeming; his son-in-law Dale Helstein of Ishpeming; his brother Dominic Barda of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Randy, Jeremy, Sara, Erik, Justin, Danielle, Lisa, Natalie and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Veronica, Derek, Isabella, Dyllan, Jason, Jayme, Brecken, Milaneya, Griffin, Halle, Madacyn, Avery, Xander and Ryance; and his great great grandchildren, Serenity, Bentley and Braxton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
