Pelto of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Pelto and Florence Pelto (Davey); his siblings, Louise Morris, Marian Howe and Gerald Pelto; his daughters-in-law, Darlene and Lisa Goyen; his stepfather Edward Olson Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Howe, David Meiers and John Howe.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Pelto; his stepsons, Marc Goyen and Craig Goyen; his siblings, Lillian "Girlie" Meiers, Jean Howe, Linda Koski (Jon) and Eddie Olson Jr. (JoAnn Argall); and his grandchildren, Logan, Scotty, Mark, Chrissy Goyen and John Ilves. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Trillium Hospice House at 1144 Northland Dr. Marquette, MI 49855 in memory of Jim.
