He is survived by: his children, René Himes (Marc), Jacqueline Dales (Percy) and Bradley Nelson; his niece Kim Nelson; his stepdaughters, Kathy Hakala (Mike) and Karen Skauge; his grandchildren, Amy Boesl (Brandon), Eric Dawe (Natalie), Talia Wunder (Todd) and Braiden Nelson; his stepgrandchildren, Mollie Frion (Cory), Meghan Hakala, Mikayla Hakala (Mandy) and Jake Hakala (Kylie); his great grandchildren, Allen, Owen, Miccah, Aubrey, Hunter, Jax and Andi; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hadley, Ada and Axton; his siblings, Ken Nelson (Shirley), Norma Belmore, Mary Morcom and Mike Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Nelson and Ken Eckloff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
