It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Fegan (Ishpeming, Michigan), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James A. Fegan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Fegan and Frances Fegan (Dyer); his wife Dorothy Fegan; and his sister-in-law Barbara Fegan. He is survived by: his children, John Fegan (Monique), Noreen Spencer (Kurt), Nancy Hull (David), Norma Tibor (William), Timothy Fegan and Jennifer Fegan (Paul Wehmanen); his brother Merlin Fegan; his grandchildren, Amy Sjoholm (Ryan), Aaron Fegan, Rodney Fegan, Caitlin Shepherd (James), Erin Armstrong (Brett), Kyle Spencer (Sarah), Megan Spencer and Summer Gromley (Liam); and his great grandchildren, Mina and Grey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (810 Hemlock St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Wesley United Methodist Church in memory of James Fegan.
