It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gery A. Mattila of Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Mattila (Tuuri) and Hugo J. Mattila; and his brother John Mattila. He is survived by: his daughter Alice M. Mattila (Beau Chaput) of Gwinn; his sister Marcia Gronvall (Frank) of Ishpeming; and his grandchildren, Brook, Luke and Blakely. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
