She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Wepsala (Kulju) and Sulo Wepsala; her sister Marilyn; and her brother-in-law Harry Wing. She is survived by: her husband Keno Jaykka of Diorite Loc; her children, David Jaykka (Nancy) of West Ishpeming, Diane Murray (Guy) of Diorite Loc and Carolyn Trewnick (Jim) of Diorite Loc; her grandchildren, Matthew Jaykka, Ryan Jaykka (Danielle), Heidi Jaykka, Kristin Murray, Keri Hytinen (Jason), Daniel Murray (Katherine), Eric Trewnick (Rebeca) and Corey Trewnick; and her great grandchildren, Landyn, Zakary, Lucy Jaykka, Lexi, Allison Gerine Hytinen, Myla Skauge, Lydia, Grace and Faith Trewnick.
