It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith E. Sandberg of Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha E. (Santaholma) and Nestor S. Korpi; her children, Edward A. Sandberg (Anita) of Ishpeming, John M. Sandberg (Tammy) of Champion and Janice Fredrickson (Steven) of Ishpeming; her siblings, Donna Korb (Marvin) of Fond and Ronald Korpi (Naoma) of Ishpeming; her grandchildren, Zachary Sandberg, Lindsey Sandberg, Cassy Sandberg, Ashley Bourgeois (James), Abby Fredrickson and Brett Fredrickson; her great grandchildren, Jolie Sandberg, Clare Bourgeois and Natalie Bourgeois; her husband Edward W. Sandberg; her granddaughter Tammy Sandberg; and her siblings, John Korpi, Ethel Aho, Irvin Korpi, Jeanette Dunstan and Dennis Korpi. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
