We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2020, at the age of 99, Dorothy Windsand of Ishpeming, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Windsand to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carlyon and Elizabeth Carlyon; her husband Raymond "Ace" Windsand; and her siblings, Richard, Robert, Clifford James Carlyon, Mary Trebilcock and Doris Carlyon.
She is survived by: her aunt Lilly; her uncle Albert Healey; her children, Jim "Debbie" Windsand of Haslett, MI, Mary Windsand of Marquette and Doris Windsand of Oak Ridge, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ascani (Gerard) of Okemos, MI, Jason Windsand of Lansing, MI and Kenneth Windsand (Brittney) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Eli and Luna Ascani. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a Memorial Service will be held in spring or summer of 2021.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans Activity Fund or Wesley United Methodist Church.
