It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Manty of Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose T. Manty (Marra) and William A. Manty; his wife Barbara Manty (Johnson) of Ishpeming; his children, Steven Manty (Jen) of Duluth, MN, Kris Niemi (Bryan) of Ishpeming and Nikki Manty of Ishpeming; his siblings, Rita Thibeault (Bob) of Ishpeming, Nancy Parkkonen (Ron) of Reno, NV, Fran Manty of Atlanta, GA, Rich Manty (Sandy Auston) of Ishpeming and Jim Manty (JoAnn) of Ishpeming; his siblings-in-law, Robert of Ishpeming, Lori Johnson of Ishpeming, Charles of Ishpeming and Claudia Johnson of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Cassondra, Blake, Mileena, Cecelia, Steve and Raymond; and his great grandchild Gabriel Donald Robert White. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
