He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Racine and Jennie Racine (Perrault); his wife Lillian Fleck; and his siblings, Earl "Jack" Racine (Lucille), Garnet Racine (Evelyn), Dorothy LaForest (Walter), Eleanor Swanson (Howard), Irene LaFreniere (Peter) and Lorraine Dyer (Jay).
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Goldsworthy (Peter) of Ishpeming, Brian Racine of Republic and Daniel Racine (Judith) of Marquette; his daughter-in-law Amy Racine; and his grandchildren, J. J. McIntyre (Stephanie Schmidt), Sarah Pleaugh (James), Laura McIntyre, Dr. Jenna Nelson (Dane), Jessica Urbaniak (Andrew), Justin Fassbender, Wendy Coduti (Kurt), Josh Goldsworthy (Erin) and Cory Goldsworthy (Melissa). He is also survived by husband to his wife and was her caregiver for 23 years, seven great-grandchildren with another great-granddaughter.
