It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Heilala of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Champion, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Heilala (Konola) and Matt Heilala; his wife Suzanne Argall; his son Theodore "Teddy"; and his brother Roy "Tim" Heilala.
He is survived by: his siblings, Aileen Kransel of Elkhorn, WI and James Heilala (Colleen) of Marquette; his daughter-in-law Susan Heilala; and his grandchildren, Christopher Heilala (Angela), Ryan Heilala and Joseph Heilala (Jennifer). He is also survived by four great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
