Doney of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 25, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George Granlund and Fern Granlund (Ninnis); her husband Reynold "Ray" Doney; and her brother Jerry Granlund. She is survived by : her daughters, Eleanor LaFreniere (Jon) and Laurel Myers (Herbert); her siblings, Neil Granlund and Linda Engstrom (David); her grandchildren, Chantelle LaFreniere, Trina Myers, Holly Marenger (Kyle) and Brandon Myers (Megan); her great grandchildren, Haylee Myers, Melia, Vivian and Scarlet Marenger; and her close friends, Jean Junak and Shirley Hicks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ishpeming High School Booster Club, or the Ishpeming High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Christine.
