He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his grandson Craig Hebein. He is survived by: his children, Susan Hebein (Michael), Terri Smith (Glenn), Kristen Christian (Dave) and Charles Smith (Mary) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Alison Rosseau (Billy), Peter Hebein, Zachary Smith (Erin), Erich Smith (Tori Nault), Charles Smith (Christy), Amber Smith, Emma Flanigan (James), Adam Christian (Jessica) and Bradley Christian; and his great grandchildren, Olletta Rosseau, Nell Rosseau, Elsie Smith, Otto Smith, Henrik Smith, Porter Flanigan, Maren Flanigan and Myla Christian.
