He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Simons (Holmgren) and Clayton Simons; his sister Charlotte Asikainen; and his close friend John Juntti. He is survived by: his brother Wholesalers; his wife Mary Lou; and his children, Claudette DesJardins (Gary Evans) of Ishpeming and Charles Simons (Julie) of Ishpeming. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
