It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Luokkala of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Luokkala; her daughter Denise; her brother Dean Carlson; her son Michael; her grandchildren, Carol Jean and David Jr.; her great grandchild Noah; and her daughter-in-law Dixie.
She is survived by: her sons, David Luokkala, Larry Luokkala (Kelly) and Steve Luokkala (Wendy); her sister Nancy Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Dolly Carlson of Ishpeming. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
