She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Matson and Syma Kulju; her husband William Sheldon; and her sister Carol Green. She is survived by: her children, Patty Bolitho (Fred) of Big Bay, Jim Sheldon (Debbie) of Skanee, Dave Sheldon (Annette) of Round Rock, TX, Brian Sheldon of Gwinn and Pamela Williams (Mike) of Shelburne Falls, MA; and her brother Roger Matson (Marilyn) of Ishpeming. She is also survived by several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming, or the Salvation Army in Ishpeming, cards may also be directed to Barbara's daughter at P.O. Box 264 Big Bay, MI 49808.
