She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary DeCaire (Niemi) and Ernest DeCaire; her husband Melvin "Lou" Ducas; and her sisters, Lois Arsenault and Nancy DeCaire.
She is survived by: her son Alan Harris (Theresa) of Champion; her nephew John Heikkila (Heidi) of Ishpeming; and her great-nieces, Natalie and Stephanie.
