He was predeceased by: his father Peter Maki; his brother Vince Maki; his mother-in-law Mary Michelson; his brother-in-law Scott Michelson; and his grandparents, Beryl Turino, Leah Filizetti (Leo) and Frank Maki (Dorothy).
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Maki (Michelson) of Ishpeming; his son Alex Maki of Gwinn; his mother Vicki Haupt (John) of Ishpeming; his father-in-law Ronald'Red'Michelson; his sister Amy Maki; his sister-in-law Kerry Bandle; his stepbrother John (Haupt); and his nieces and nephews, Kiana, Vincent Maki, Abby and Emily Bandle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
