He was predeceased by: his former wives, Nancy Beauchaine and Nancy Besola (Beauchaine); his siblings, Melvin Besola (Irma) and Betty Uitto; his brother-in-law Frank Pearson; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Florence Sedlock.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Besola (Sedlock) of Negaunee; his children, Gregg Besola (Tracey), Amy Besola, Kathy DeGabriele (Mark), Patty Leaf (Roger), Debbie Leiviska and Mary Barrett (Chris); his grandchildren, Sydney, Avery Besola, Taylor Fisher (Dalton), Sarah Bergquist (Ross), Alexis Lyke, Jason DeGabriele (Lindsay), Jessie DeGabriele, Evan, Bryce Leaf and Amelia Fredrickson (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Charli and Liam DeGabriele; his siblings, Jean Bilkey (Eugene) and Lee Besola (Gail); and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Uitto, Alan Sedlock (Diane Schroeder) and Jeanne Pearson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Alan's memory to the Ishpeming Elks Lodge.
