He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Heenan; his parents, John Strand and Lovida Christine Strand (Olsen); and his daughter Yvonne Zych. He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Hodor (Bob) of North Carolina, Suzanne Hannula (Bruce), Debra Federico (Jeffrey) and Tammy Giackino (Rod); his son-in-law Roger Zych; and his siblings, Joanne Mattson and John. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
