It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Joyce Mesich of Ironwood, Michigan, born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony W. Ungerer and Gertrude Ungerer (Winker); her parents-in-law, John and Anna Mesich; her siblings, Lorraine McPherson (Jim), Columbia Rose Brunner, Marjorie Keene (James), Antoinette Capelli (Jerry), Sally Brauer (Charlie) and Arthur Ungerer; her nephews, Mike "Zip" Shea and Roger Capelli; and her niece Paulette Kroll.
She is survived by: her husband Michael C. Mesich; her children, John (Wendy), Michael (Gina), Judith Murray, Joan Roberts and Kathy Saari (Joe); her grandchildren, Melissa Mesich, Michael Mesich (Mel), Nicole (Ben Martinsen), John Mesich (Lindsey), Lauren Roberts, Jonathan Murray, Jesse Murray, Laura Murray, Mark Saari (Morgan) and Jacob Saari; her sister Jackie Alberg (Mark); and her sister-in-law Elaine Ungerer. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Ann graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1952, and she went to Milwaukee and worked for the American Heart Association as a secretary.
