She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward "Dick" and Myrtle Richards; her husband Fred Martell; her daughter Carol Sokolowski; her brother Wally Richards; and her grandson Matthew Luoma.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Martell (Louise) of Minong, WI and Ginny Luoma (Mark) of Park Falls, WI; her son-in-law Mike Sokolowski of Eau Claire, WI; her grandchildren, Joe Martell (Hannah), Jeff Martell (Gretta), David Marlow (Leah), Nathan Sokolowski, Sara Bernardin (Josh), Amy Vandermoon (Rocky) and John Luoma (Tashanna); her great grandchildren, Karsten, Sam, Rosie, Carolina, Winnie, Camille, Kayden, Charlie, Matt, Grace and Kaylee; her sister Carol Neumann; and her grandson Dave. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (500 E McLeod Ave, Ironwood, MI 49938). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian's name can be made to The Red Devil Education Foundation Inc. or the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ironwood.
