She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Nelson and Dorothy Nelson (Rose); her husband Ray; her sons, Todd of Ironwood, Michigan and Brett (Sherry) of Ironwood, Michigan; her sister Karen Damgard of Ironwood; her grandchildren, Jake Richter (Veronica) of Marquette and Janet Morgan (Johnathon) of Jackson, Georgia.; and also Kay S. Richter.
