He was predeceased by: his former wife Pearl Mary Kucera (Hotchkiss); his son James Joseph Kucera Jr; and his parents, George Kucera and Elsie Kucera (Krainak). He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Kucera (Mazzon); his brothers, Donald Kucera of Tucson and Philip Kucera (Judy) of Ironwood; and his children, Lisa Johnson (Matt) of Saginaw, Minn, Christine Ozzello of Hurley, Wisc, Marcella "Mike" Siirila of Ironwood and James Robert Kucera of Ironwood. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, nieces and more friends.
