He is survived by: his sister Kit; his former wife Sue Averitt of Ironwood; his sons, Dan Averitt of Minneapolis and Nick Averitt (Krystal) of Burnsville, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Brayden Averitt, Kate Averitt, Ian Averitt, Marshall Averitt and Louis Averitt; his great grandchildren, Layla Averitt and Leo Averitt; his nieces and nephews, Bryce Averitt, Marc Averitt, Rachel Averitt, Jamey Jackson, Anney Jackson and Joey Jackson; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Averitt; and his sister-in-law Mary Moncher (Mimi).
