He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Joseph Rimkus Sr. and Leocadia Rimkus (Koleski); his sisters, Christine Kirby, Rose Lindsey and Margaret Salo; his grandson Brian Hellen; and his son-in-law John LaChapelle.
He is survived by: his wife Alida Plumley; his children, Donna LaChapelle, Joseph of Ironwood and Michael (Karin) of Ironwood; his grandchildren, Kristin Anderson (Kyle) of Ironwood, Nick Hellen (Gabriella) of Ironwood, Breanna LaChapelle (Chris) of Ironwood, Jacqualyn LaChapelle (Dylan) of Ironwood, Lacey Rimkus (Dominic) of Ironwood, Austin Rimkus of Ironwood, Amanda Magdziak (Nathan) of Ironwood and Nicole Rimkus (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Everly Anderson, Landon Magdziak and River Hellen. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID-19, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
