Elmer Waurio Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Waurio of Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Waurio and Matilda Waurio (Lake); his wife Isabelle Simington; his daughter Diane Chiapuzio; his grandson Kevin Chiapuzio; and his siblings, Uno, Arnold, Carl, Ynve, Eddie, Albert Waurio, Femia Piilola, Bertha Waurio and Edna Talo.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Waurio (Penny) of Ironwood Township, Michigan, Donna Beckman of Ironwood Township, Michigan and Debra Stano (Greg) of Callender, Iowa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
