He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Edward Wiita and Violet M. Wiita; his son John Robert Wiita; his brother Clifford; his sister-in-law Phyllis Wiita; his nephew Phillip Wiita; and his pet Sammy.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M Zizzo; his daughter Lori Estabrook (Eric); his grandchildren, Alicia Estabrook, Gareth Estabrook (Broderick Anderson), Angeline, Michael and Madelyn; and his nieces and nephews, Clifford (Kip), Vicki, Sarah and Eric Wiita.
