He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Bergman; his children, Jeri (Joe Brown) of Ironwood and David (Mikki) of Ankeny, Iowa; his granddaughters, Jillyn of Raleigh and Robyn (Travis Yets) of Ankeny, Iowa; his daughter Chris Lahti (Carl) of Ironwood; his brothers, Carl Hjalmquist (Joan) and Lars Hjalmquist (Joan); and his brother-in-law James Bergman (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
