She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Mabel; her husband John; her son Donald J. Sunie; her sisters, Ellen Weber and Dorothy Herrick; and her son-in-law James Karvonen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Brewster (Robert) of Colorado Springs, Jeanette Splonskowski (Charles) of Hurley, Linda Korpi (Eugene) of Eau Claire, Carol Colasacco (Guy) of Pleasant Prairie, Diane Yanke (Harlan) of Waunakee and Debra Karvonen of Superior, Wisconsin; her daughter-in-law Rosa Sunie of El Paso, Texas; and her brothers, Everett Steele of Winter Park and Roy Steele (Doris) of Greenville, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established to support some of Charlotte's favorite charities.
