He is survived by: his parents, Jim Makey and Betty Makey (Sewell) of Ankeny, Iowa; his siblings, Sara Wollner (Ben) of Ankeny, Erin Makey of Portland, Oregon and Patrick Makey (Alicia) of Woodbine; his nieces and nephews, William, Zoey, Adeline, Ivan and Leo; and his cousin Marine Corps. He is also survived by his family including aunts and uncles.
