It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin August Liikanen of Ironwood, Michigan, born in Bessemer, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his sister Elaine (Hoff); his wife Barbara (Empey); his son Bruce (Diana); and his grandson Kyle.
