He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin King and Mary Katharine King (Craun); and his grandparents, Vernon Craun and Cora Brenden Craun (Streeter). He is survived by: his wife Karen Scott; his children, Charles Scott King (Cristen) of Otter Lake and Laura Marie King of Flint; his grandson Jackson Noah Layman; and his close friends, Henry "Hank" Schlegel (Ellen) and John Akers (Janis).
